An industrial layout makes it easier to achieve a variety of goals, allowing you to explain the complexities of technical subtleties in simple language. Demonstration of the peculiarities of production work, a visual presentation of constructive moments, conveying the essence of the project to investors and society, a spectacular presentation at the exhibition, simplification of the training process for specialists – all these tasks are solved by an industrial layout.
This category of layouts captures the widest range of technologies and materials – due to the presence of non-standard shapes and details, a high degree of detail, large or too small scale. When creating an industrial model, our specialists use polystyrene 1 and 2 mm thick as the main material, often PVC, plexiglass, PET, wood – all the details are drawn on a computer, and then cut out on a machine. In addition, casting and 3D printing technologies are often used. The main part of the time when creating a model is taken by manual processing of elements – gluing, putty, painting.
Separately, I would like to note the role of illumination for an industrial layout – it can create an emphasis on any structural element, connect technological lines, demonstrate the sequence of the mechanism, show the movement of flows of substances. As an example – our model of treatment facilities, made for the Izhevsk electromechanical plant “Kupol”. Thanks to sophisticated interactive lighting, the movement of precipitation, the supply of reagents, ozone and liquid through pipelines from the cultivator to the bio-tanks is clearly demonstrated. The “running” color LEDs create the illusion of fluid movement through the pipes, adding a spectacular appearance to the semantic function. This model was exhibited at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.
Each layout in this category is unique and different from others, and the complexity of production terms and technologies requires a careful approach to the preparation and implementation of the project. The creation of industrial models is divided into three main stages. The first is collecting initial information from the customer, discussing the scale, level of detail, and the presence of backlighting. The second stage is the study and analysis of data, the choice of materials, it is possible to create a 3D visualization of the future layout, for making edits and adjustments. The third is the implementation of the project into reality. Our specialists approach each stage responsibly and creatively, focusing on the creation of a competent, functionally and visually beautiful product.
